Oooh Satu..What a result! Who'd have thought that such a technique could produce such a good painting. You must be delighted with this and she must look wonderful in real life because you used the large canvas. She has such a pensive expression and you added so much by your choice of colours. You've guessed, I love it!

Thank you ever so much Gudrun, Lewis, Fiona and Louise! I have just made a couple of adjustments darkening the eyebrows and the surrounding of the eyes. Looks better now.

Lovely painting but how you do it upside down is amazing. Thea was always doing upside down . I wondered about Derek Snowdon I haven't seen him on Pol for a long time.

Thank you very much for your kind comment, Dennis. Drawing and sketching upside down is much easier than the right way up for everything really. I do it also without looking at my drawing hand at all to create a “free” image and also an image which very often is more accurate than a normal one. We haven’t seen Derek for a while, I hope that he’s fine. Thanks again Dennis.
