Brilliant use of paint. Silicone pebble? I admire your work methods.

Beautiful colours and shapes Satu, great dramatic landscape.

Amazing and beautiful result Satu

Wow. I love this.

So exciting and colourful Satu!

Wow this is gorgeous Satu, amazing and beautiful colours :)

Some super colours in this, Satu, especially like the foreground.

Thank you all, Michael, Carole, Dennis, Janet, Marjorie, Maria, Jenny and Ivan for your comments!! Michael, silicone pebble is exactly was it says, the make is Catalyst and there's quite a selection of different painting tools. The pebble fits beautifully in hand and one side is like blade which can be used to spread paints, make marks etc. Great fun. If you google Catalyst or go on You tube you'll see what I mean.

What a fantastic piece of work Satu, a success in every way!

A really interesting and successful way to make marks. A very dramatic choice of colours with a great result.

Dont know the method...but it worked.

Thank you very much Fiona, Andre and Sylvia for your comments! Much appreciated as always. Sylvia, there's no specific method at all, it's very much like painting with credit card or a piece of cardboard except that it's a bit more flexible.

Thankyou for the info satu. I do know that turner used a kind of stone or small pebble so what works for him and you ofcourse is alright by me. Im abit naive sometimes in my methods and seem to think in terms of bristles too much. Youve inspired me to try out different tools so thankyou again

Amazing painting Satu, very great and wonderful matching colours.

You're welcome Michael. I'm very glad if my work inspires you to try something new.

Thank you Cesare for your kind comment.

An excellent result Satu - I have heard of catalyst tools and they certainly produce excellent results!

Just brilliant Satu - really inspiring.

Experimental or what?, why don't I think of these methods, probably because if I did it would not look like this piece. So creative, well done Satu.

Thank you very much Julie, Michael and Alan for your kind comments! The thing is, Alan, that you don't need anything else but your brushes to create magic....

What a wonderfully exciting transformation! Absolutely brilliant in colours shapes and textures. ... effective catalyst ...!

Brilliant!! I would love to try but with my lack of dexterity and strength I'll stick with the cards.

Many thanks Gudrun and Derek for your encouraging comments! You know, Derek, the pebble might be just right for your hand. It sits really nicely in your palm and is not heavy.

Absolutely beautiful, Satu.

Thank you Frank, very kind!

Fabulous Satu and what a technique you used here !

This is just beautiful!

Thank you very much Louise and Karen!

Lovely stroke Satu.

You could be right there Satu. Will investigate - thanks

This is the same landscape as the monochrome last week. I painted it entirely with a silicone pebble and piece of cardboard.
