Floral Sea. Palette knife? Very versatile Satu. It's beautiful. Best of luck with the exhibition. I am rooting for you.

Beyond the Emerald Sea. OK. It's not emerald but you do catch my drift?

Yes, "Evening lights"......... Or more sombre "Petals on the water" I see ships and not floral.

'Gruner See' (green lake) in Austria?

I use single words for my absracty sort of work which give a hint of what they could be about - also I try to avoid the more descriptive twee titles - how about Leeward' - oh and yes: it's another winner Satu.

How about 'Mirage', dictionary meaning......an image, produced by very hot air, of something that seems to be far away but does not really exist. It has a kind of mystery about it Satu and if it is a warm sea, it may produce visions of flowers and ships. I like Louises title, fits very well. It's great by the way.

Great colours, appealing treatment with roller etc. "Ships to Shore"? Good luck with exhibition, it's stressful by enjoyable.

I quite like Floral Sea, but Leeward is also good. I can see Michael's point. In any event it is beautiful.

Thank you all so very much for your help! I like all the suggestions but I think the one that describes the title I was looking for is Leeward. A sheltered side of the sea, a safe place. Perfect. Thank you Michael! Gruner See would be great too but people wouldn't understand it. Thanks again all!

Gorgeous painting Satu,! 'Beyond the Blue' sprang to my mind but I really like Michael's suggestion. Good luck with the exhibition, the weather is set fair for the weekend so, hopefully, you'll have a good turn out.

Thank you very much Christine! I'll keep your suggestion and the others of course for the paintings to come!

Good luck in the exhibition Satu I would have said SATUrated

Glad you like Leeward Satu - best of luck with the exhibition. - let us know how it goes

Very beautiful and atmospheric, Satu. My suggestion is 'Undersee'. Im seeing the wrecks of tall ships. People will love it.

Ships in the Night? Whatever the title, this gem is brilliant, Satu! Love the palette and the layering that creates such depth.

This is really beautiful, Satu. I have to say that the first thing that came into my mind when I saw it was 'Northern Lights' as the green is the exact colour of the sky in the northern lights and that colour is so bright that it spreads around and onto the ground, just like in your painting. Good luck with the exhibition (or am I too late with this comment for it?).

Thank you very much Harry, Seok and Thea for your comments and suggestions! The exhibition is going well and I have sold two paintings so far. One more day to go. Unfortunately I couldn't put this painting there this time because the varnish had not dried properly but there is another coming in May so this can go there.

Beautiful! Phantastic colours.

Love the colours here, Satu. Hope the exhibition was a success ?

Thank you Jennifer! Yes, the exhibition went well and this was sold but the flower paintings weren't. I would have thought the other way round!

I painted this yesterday with a roller and a palette knife. I'm taking part in an exhibition this weekend and because this seems to go well with the flower paintings I decided to include it but I need a good TITLE. I cannot think of anything so I'm hoping that you might come up with something. Thank you in advance!
