Lovely depiction of the glare of the sun reflecting off a white surface. Nice strong shadows add to this feel and your figure of your granddaughter is nicely understated and described.

An other little watercolour of my granddaughter. The most difficult part in this painting was the boat. First it was too big then too small compared to Maija but I think it looks quite OK now. The shadows were also difficult bedause the contrast between the darkest and lightest parts were really enormous. I'm so used to acrylics that watercolours are very challenging.
