Another great abstract painting Satu, I really like this one

I've got boards like that, Satu ..... maybe one day someone will X-ray our work and struggle to see which of half a dozen (or more) paintings came first. I always like your abstracts - they're imaginative without shouting at me: because you know (as some don't) that an abstract painting needs to be as considered as any other, and possibly more so.

This is a really interesting composition Satu and a lovely subtle colour palette. I must say that I find it difficult to understand some abstract paintings but this one appeals to me in many ways. It has been very well thought out.

You really know how to get the most from shapes Satu and this agreat example

I like this a lot Satu. I wouldn't call it abstract as I know what everything is ! You've just taken "artistic licence" with perspective and made us sit up and think. You transform everyday objects into wonderful shapes , textures and colour.....so refreshing.

Thank you so much Petra, Robert (hello Robert!), Christine, Michael and Avril for your really kind and encouraging comments! What I want to end up with my modern or abstract paintings is that the result is a pleasure to look at and that it gives me a satisfaction of having created something new. Having you all here to help me is just great. Thank you!!!

You have managed to capture some wonderful textures here and I like your use of colour.

I like this a lot, Satu! It's such a great placement of positive and negative shapes, with lovely balance.

Thank you Lesley and Seok for your kind comments!

This is one of those paintings that makes you look and look and look and you would never tire of looking some more. Don't Xfile it!!

Thank you Margaret for a very kind comment!

This is a poor much used board! It has seen many different versions of the same scene which is our dining room. The only original piece is the chair and the end bit of the table. I have changed the colours so many times, taken off things and added others. This is the final version and I thought to show it to you before it goes into the X file.
