Well done, Olga - this is a lovely painting. Super colours in the iris and the background works well too. I love backruns as they add character and stop a dark colour looking too dense, so I don't think you need to worry about them.

Format 18 x24 cm. On Bockingford paper. I painted it from a reference picture provided by "Paint my Photo" site. The element I struggled most was the dark background. I did run out of wash despite the fact that I tried to mix enough of it. So it resulted in some backruns in the background. I decided to leave it as it is, working "with them" rather than against them ( although they win most of the time)
