Beautiful colours going towards the pink. They are my choices too, rather than the harsher lemon we also see.

I live on the edge of the woods, which, like where you are, are alive with color. I think you are gutsy to even try to simplify enough to successfully create such a lovely painting. Trees are strong. Fall colors are just right, not hard edged or too much. A joy to look at.

Painted locally in oil on a reused canvas board,10x8in. I was mainly interested in the colours of the trees both in the middle ground and distance.
