Love this Sarah. The pomegranate is perfect and the seeds cradling in the pith. I also love the texture of the wooden surface and the seeds scattered on top.

I'm short with words to compliment this painting enough Sarah. I'm actually practicing similar *thing to reset my mind ;) To have a break from challenging skin tones on the portrait I'm up to, I started a side painting of the bird ;) I found it very enjoyable and relaxing ;)

First painting of the New Year complete. Just working on a little fruit collection alongside my larger new wildlife series. Big pieces involving a lot of fur/hair/hide can be really arduous and these mini fruit pieces just help to change it up a bit! 'Pomegranate on Wood', 15 x 15 cm, Oil on board
