Here's 'Archie', a surprise commission that was gifted today! My client asked me to paint this as a birthday present for his wife of their gorgeous little boy! I find it incredibly hard to paint a human portrait from a photograph, especially where there is no contrast to enable me to create a sense of form. Oil on board, 14 x 18"
