Just finished painting this beautiful little girl from across the pond. The reference image for this portrait presented all manner of challenges, namely the fact that she's sitting 'head on' and so no real body visible but I felt the inclusion of the cushion\pad she's sitting on helped to situate her. Who could resist that little face with her one pink rimmed eye? 'Dixie', oil on board, 12 x 16"
