Glad to see the final version instead of the sketch LOL. Ruth this is adorable. You've got the cheeky look and the fat fluffy feathers so well. I've often watched the little horrors wearing their parents to shreds. Seems like our life doesn't it?

A lovely painting Ruth. The roof tops around here are full of young Herring Gulls, extremely noisy, clumsy looking birds not nearly so handsome as the adults and nowhere near as cute as your baby sparrow!

I think you've made a splendid job of this little fellow Ruth. The area around the eye and the beak is especially well painted - he's gorgeous! Your pastel work is getting better and better!
