Like stepping back in time Paul. A familiar scene from long ago.

A really interesting drawing and love the colours -hard to do from a monochrome postcard and to get right

Would love to know the history behind Drury Hill!! will have to Google it Paul, a really nostalgic painting well painted.

Nostalgia personified...something out of Dickens!!! just lovely!

Love this

Very grateful for the wonderful comments

Ah the lost age, streets like this used to be everywhere pre 1960's, full of strange little shop that were so much more interesting than shopping centers, we get a lot from progress but also loose a lot. Like this painting very much Paul.

Thank you Robert

Wow, memories of walking up that hill, with my very small feet, nice one Paul.

yes Leslie if they had left it alone and invested in its regeneration would of rivalled the shambles in York and paid back in full with tourist trade, but alas we are pure minions
