I totally agree. The grey sky against the bright building sets the mood!

Thanks for the comments. I often look up to the hill where this lane is and I've always loved seeing a very dark sky with the sun lighting up the hill. It made me want to do a painting of that subject.

A beautifully painted landscape, you have managed those notoriously difficult greens really well.

The detail and the light are exceptional.
