Sunset Embankment: original watercolour by Roger Turner on The Langton A3 140lb paper. I painted this watercolour in an attempt to capture the luminous effect of the setting sun as it backlit the clouds just before it disappeared behind a railway embankment. It is based upon one of a series of photographs that I took in early March of 2012.
