Staithes Harbour At Low Tide. Original oil painting on wooden panel. 71.5 cm x 30.5 cm. http://www.rogerturnerart.com/Staithes_Harbour Staithes in North Yorkshire has been much painted by artists throughout the years, so I thought it was about time that I made my own contribution. I particularly like this view of Staithes from the harbour at low tide with all of the reflections. The the mooring lines leading to the line of fishing boats that draws the eye from right to left - large to small and then from left to right along the row of buildings along the harbour.
