As soon as I looked at this I saw beyond the detail and there was an abstract, with all the angles and colours. If you're not continuing with this for a while, how about developing an abstract from it Roger?

This drew my eye straight away and it looks so promising roger. Let's keep up to date with it please?

This already has a good feel about it. Yes, why not do as Marjorie suggests? Could be interesting? Like you I am wary of the synthetic; is some of it tinkering ...?

Thank you for comments Derek and Gudrun....very kind and unexpected, and Marjorie for giving welcome crit and suggestions for development...much appreciated and valued. I'm not against iPad art per se, but I won't get involved with it and refuse to see it for anything other than it is...something wrong with my English I think....

Very few uploads show a work in a mid-stage of development. This is perhaps, half finished and the problem now is that with lighter evenings progress will come to a halt and it will be autumn before completion. Inevitably, there will be on going changes, including my indispensable Muse I post this not for comment, but to 'show and tell'. I paint from life..no Corel paint pot, no smoke and mirrors, no ipad diddling...simply looking and recording. Oil on canvas 110cm x 55cm
