16" x 20" oils on canvas. A Cadell painting of Iona which I saw on the Internet last week inspired me to paint this oil from a plein air watercolour. I've just told myself to stop fiddling. I took two photos as the natural light is fading. This one, with a lamp shining on the painting makes the colours a little more golden than they are. With the lamp turned off, they look very cool and bluish grey. The reality is somewhere between the two. I'll post this one.
