I really like this, and the more I look the more I like it. I like the details and how you have achieved the light leaves against the dark tree trunks for example. Have you used masking fluid or have you painstakingly painted around the dark leaves? Excellent work.

I nearly always use masking fluid as I prefer to paint across the light areas. I find it tends to a brighter and cleaner look. That sounds a bit arty but that's how I tackle it!

This is gorgeous. The light is so so good. It is obvious how much you loved painting it. The sense of distance is super.

This is absolutely stunning, Stephen. The more i look, the better it becomes, the way you've captured the light is magnificent. I wish i could use masking fluid, when I buy it it goes off so fast in the container it's unusable after a couple of weeks in the heat here. Does anyone know an answer to this problem?? Keep it in the fridge, perhaps??? Help!!!
