It's that man again! I didn't realise it was so small, the final job is more polished, I like the restricted palette you've used.

Full of character Robert

Very distinguished Robert.

Robert, those textures are amazing...the hair, the velvet coat, the bow tie. A wealth of knowledge and experience in the facial features. Masterly.

Very cleverly executed in this small format.

excellent portrait Robert, very accomplished tonal work I like the balance of light and dark and reflected light throughout the picture David Harrison

Sorry! Dimensions ALL wrong - dyscalculia (dyslexia but with figures) strikes again.... This is 7" by 10". I've double-checked now - it's a real condition, by the way: I check the figure, go and sit down, start typing ..... and it's gone again. So I have to get up and check it again...... well, it does give me good exercise..... DEFINITELY 7" by 10". Thanks for all comments, sorry to have misled you.
