The Labour candidate for whom I was Agent in 1987; a man with opponents but no enemies, because he was just too nice a man. Much missed by so many of us, whatever our political persuasion because he never had a bad word for anyone, and hated it when I tried to make him condemn the opposition!

Born November 18th 1950. Former party political agent, former chairman of housing association. Has worked as a volunteer with the NHS since 2000, painting seriously for the last ten years, sporadically for the last 50. Member, National Association of Painters in Acrylic from October 2015
