Robert....Long time no see... I am delighted, and particularly intrigued by the partial sight of a road snaking its way over the Downs. The diagonal intersection of purple....heather? acts as an artistic foil to the composition and works well, I think. Oh Lordy, I sound as though I know what I'm talking about!!!! To cut it short...I like this; format, design and palette! So pleased to see you posting again.

Really lovely work Robert. Nice to see something from you and looking forward to seeing some watercolours soon!

Love the tranquility that shines through, Robert.

Acrylic, long format, for my brother's birthday; did two paintings, one from me, the other from my sister-in-law, of scenes from his (distant) youth. This one could have been developed a lot more, but I reached a point and felt I'd said what I wanted to, and stopped.
