The fact that some are wearing glasses just makes the painting for me. So many faces, the tilts of their heads and their expressions are just so good. The painting seems to tell a story and although I've been looking at it for some time, I keep spotting different details which make it so interesting. Love that chap in the middle, looking round in the green top. He seems to be wondering what all those at the front have spotted which he hasn't! It's a fabulous painting, full of life.

Mixed media ....set out to create a funeral scene among the streets of Wales. But as ever lost the train of thought and began to fill the page with throngs of people can't recall why so many are wearing glasses but may try another version in the future not quite sure what it says apart from maybe a fleet of buses should arrive soon
