Great title that sums up this wild animal. You've captured his strength and power and the colour palette is fantastic too.

Beautiful animal in a fabulous painting. I love it.

Super painting that really captures its size, strength and attitude. Great colours too. We passed one in our car that was walking along the road on holiday in Yellowstone- it was huge!

A superb painting of this iconic animal, bringing out the power , and strength but also it’s vulnerability. Excellent pallet , with the colours blended in so well .

Reminds me of my mate Ferdinand - a bison held in captivity at Bristol Zoo, which I used to visit as my uncle was a keeper there, and with whom I communed: the poor old devil would charge his bars in frustration - he was kept in a large enclosure, but with a concrete floor, and all on his own: the sheer unintentional cruelty of it struck me even as a child. Happily, Ferdinand and I got on well - he liked children, in the sense at least that he wouldn't charge at them. You've caught the bulk, the strength, and the sense of danger that a big animal like this represents.

Lovely painting
