Tree And Field (Stipple Practice)

Excellent Richard , it must have taken ages to complete.

It did Paul. Never thought I had that much patience. 😀😀😀

I like it Richard. Having done a few I know how hard it is. I remember reading about an electronic stipple pen, but wasn't sure how much control I'd have over it.

That is so unique and different. Like it a lot!!!

Thank you Lewis and David. Your comment are really appreciated. Quite enjoy doing this, worth trying a few more. Cheers. Not sure about an Electric Pen Lewis - Sure I would agree with you !

Lovely and colourful looks like you had fun with the pens ? 😊

Excellent Richard! I’m loving this new avenue you’ve taken, very effective.

Very unusual, looks good.

This is very effective, Richard, like the composition with that tree cropped slightly and the colours.

Painstaking Richard, well done

Much appreciate all your positive comments they can certainly help and encourage.

This is really striking, Richard. What a considerable amount of patience.

Thank you Ellen, and yes as I am not that well known for patience ! 😀

Very effective and colourful, Richard - well done! ( Nice to see a blossom tree on such a miserable day !)

Thanks for your comment Anne. At the time I didn't think of blossom just the colours I would use. Appreciated.

This really stands out. The stippling is well done and the colouring is striking.

I admire your patience. Great result and I like the colours Richard.

I like the way the lines in the foreground lead the eye into the picture and the fence posts have a realistic touch of the casual - I hope you know what I mean, not sure that I do! The Cuttlelola Dots Pen is quite expensive and can be annoyingly audible in use so whether it’s worth money is a moot point, Richard. It certainly needs application before you get used to it. I’ll let you know when I have practised more.

Looked at a lot of Stipple / Pointillism sources. This is loosely based on a design / Painting by Wanda Marais plus other sources - tutorial etc. Did this with Fine liner Coloured Pens. When next in Manchester will look at "Stipple" pens etc. Could do it online I guess but would rather Save Our High Streets !!!!
