The Robin :-)

The Robin :-)

The overall shape is a great improvement and the feet painted well, I think he looks good, not a killer bird, just looking for a nice juicy worm, welll done!

Rebecca, I reckon he is thinking about breakfast too. I think I heard one in my garden the other day, but I don't know much about when or where birds appear and when they go away. I know robins, blackbirds and sparrows when I see them, and that's about it. But I like this picture, a) Because you have the pluck to go for life painting and b) Because of the expression in Cock-Robin's posture. Thanks and Regards John

Hi Glennis, thank you. I am pleased and suprised that the shape is ok, i thought i was heading for a telling off and correction when i uploaded this chappy. I am really pleased, thank you :-)

Hi John, thank you for looking at my artwork and for commenting. I agree, he looks like he is thinking about breakfast, lunch, super, snacks, he needs a diet i think :-) I have no knowledge of birds, and like you, can recognise blackbirds, robins, thats it, :-) i copied from a bird book, (not traced) thank you for commenting, i appreciate it :-)

He defiantly has a killer look in his eye. Worms watch out. I have a bossy robin who sits on my kitchen window cill. He stamps around until I feed him. I think this is his double. Great fun.

He's nothing like a vulture, Rebecca! He's very clearly a robin, and I think he's your best bird yet. Keep painting your birds and look forward to seeing more.

Hi Sylvia, thanks for looking, i agree he has a killer look in his eye, and i think by the looks of his tummy that kept growing and growing when i painted him hence why it is so big (i was trying to even him up and he just kept getting bigger and bigger) he has eaten all the worms, i best put him on to some bird food to keep him going :-) thanks for your comments.

Hi Jane, that's really kind of you to say you do not think he is a Vulture, i think he is cos he is so big and fat, he just kept growing. I will keep painting the birds, and maybe get a better colour copy off of the internet from the rspb website of some birds to get a better colour, as when i look at them in the garden they are far too fast to capture. Thank you for looking at my artwork and for commenting, i appreciate it. :-)

Killer bird! Perhaps he just got out of his nest the wrong side :) I thought that he was quite a bonny little robin :)

thanks Sarah :-p one heck of a nest i think! he is far too big for a robin, and once i get better pictures to copy from of birds, i will have another go.

Very nice Rebecca your drawing is very good and the colours are very nice.

Hi Michael, thanks very much for looking at my artwork and for commenting, i appreciate it, and i am happy you like the colours :-) i still think it's a killer :-p

I see no vulture Rebecca, I see a Robins beak, shape and most of all, personallity!

:-p you are too kind Fiona, but i appreciate your comments :-)
