Like this, it's fun! Keep on experimenting.

Hi Susan :-) thank you for looking at my artwork and commenting :-) i love to experiment with new art products :-p and i am pleased you like it :-)

Rebecca this is good, this style suits you

Really like your beach hut series Rebecca, love the candy colours.

Hi Rebecca..Nice image,I've never heard of Brusho paints but they do make a strong colour painting..I think I'm a bit too fat to fit through those doors.:-)

Hi Rebecca - this is a lovely bright and colourful picture. I love the striped beach huts. It is fun experimenting with different art materials. Have you tried dropping tiny bits of brush powder onto wet paper? It spreads out in really interesting patterns. Do be aware though that Brusho is not very light fast. It will fade quite quickly in strong sunlight.

Thanks Fiona :-) i used very little water for these colours, but the mint green is the 'rebecca's gouache' mix :-p it's a very yucky shade but emerald green mixed with white (pva glue) goes this shade, least i learn from mistakes :-p

Hi Robbin :-) i don't think even i would fit through the doors, they are a bit narrow :-p i am new to brusho powders too, hence the experimenting, but i am disappointed to know they may not lightfast.........

Hi Julie :-) i appreciate your comments, how very disapointing that Brusho is not lightfast, i did not think of asking about that as normally these days paints are. :-p i will give that a go, though the powder for me, is troublesome to work with and static, it is recommended to sprinkle the powders from a pepper pot to do the wet paper thing......... my hands get covered as it is from opening the lids :-p

Didn't know they weren't lightfast - a pity, but on the other hand you've got these paintings on the computer, and they're not going to fade there..... I like the energy in this one.

I didn't either Robert, i prefer lightfast :-) but you are right, and the originals go into a foder anyway, so no light. :-p I am pleased you like this picture :-)

hope you like the beach huts, the powders are like inks! very little powder and water makes vibrant inks. add more water, you get watercolours :-) i outlines the huts in black permanent pen but originally drew everything first in ink and calligraphy pen :-)
