Hi Jane :-) i am glad you like the colours :-) they have astounded me for their intensity and range of uses. it is only day 1 really today (a full day) to do more testing :-p

i know Carole :-p everything is so interesting and exciting when it comes to creativity, , i cannot just stick to one thing when it comes to art materials :-p

Vivid colours and obviously you like them alot. This is my favourite from your testings, you said that you mix them with PVA glue, How do you find that? Does it ruin your brushes? :)

Hi Sarah :-) i am glad you like this one, i thought i wanted to try and create a scene with the limited pallette i had created. I am using an ice cube tray as a palette as the cubes slots are deep and can hold a good amount of liquid for washes etc. Pva glue does not ruin paintbrushes, even good quality ones, iv been using the SAA's silver brushes with the pva glue, and as long as you have clean water to hand to clean off the pva glue paint thoroughly, then the brushes are fine. After a lot of painting and heavy painting session, i do use baby shampoo to clean the brushes :-) it is annoying to find out though that the powders are not lightfast.......... this coud prove a put off for me.

I like the idea of using an ice cube tray for a palette too. Non lightfast colours are an inconvenience but no matter, I do not expect my pictures to last forever :( They are more for my pleasure really. All the best :)

i would love my paintings to last for a while and be plastered all over the world to cheer it up :-p your paintings do not just please you, they please us too :-) the ice cube tray is much easier and cheaper, there are not good enough palette on the market for me, i like a good capacity depth for washes
