I just love the freshness of your colours Ray. The cottage I live in is sort of similar to this one and although I have tried many times to paint it, the result is never as charming at this! Your other landscapes as just as inspiring. Brilliant!

Well worth enlarging this one, works even better in full screen. Like all of it, but especially the tree on the left.

Ditto. This is so beutifully painted. delightful to look at.

Such a lovely fresh watercolour. Great style in your other paintings too.

Again a beautiful watercolour. The colours are so fresh and lively. I love the way you painted the sky, the tree, the cottage, the foreground, everything.... Delightful!!!

Another beautiful painting Ray. Love the sky. In comparision to the rest of gallery It feels very kind of tucked away and a bit empty without people. You are at your best painting vast spaces.

Thanks for your comments folks! Olga - This was a commissioned painting for the charity owners - please see their website. It is usually full of screaming, rushing kids, but on the day I sketched it it was deserted. I enjoy working on commissions but am always happiest in the mountains and wide open spaces.

Excellent use of the watercolours Ray, very nice relaxing picture.

Little BrynGwyn is a cottage on the Gower, South Wales. It is owned by a local charity (www.ValleysKids.org) and is used for residential groups of children and their families. This is a small watercolour (approx 11x8) on Arche NOT paper.
