Well done on this one Sarah, contrasts are always vital, without them paintings looks flat, actually you could go a bit darker even but a nice job all the same.

A lovely painting Sarah. I'm in awe of artists who put in figures but they are important in showing height of buildings etc. Good contrasts and I agree with Alan that you could go a little darker in your shadows as your painting gives the impression of quite strong sunlight.
