I like the crooked lines Sarah, they make the place seem quaint!

Thank you for your nice comment Debs :)

Hi Sarah love this pen and watercolour of yours, lovely colours, love the pen lines, cheers for our great comment on my little kitten ACEO pastel, that was a first doing a titchy work for me and I have to say it was great fun to do, as to how did I do it, well, I fought tooth and nail to keep it all in that confined space! I started with the most important parts for me, the eyes, drew them in completely to make sure they fitted in perfectly then filled in around them with the fur detail and nose and mouth, and I will be doing more, this one is now taking its chances on ebay along with the best of my other works

Thanks Ros! Let me know how you get on with e bay plz. I'd love to know. I nearly went in that direction last year but could not get colour matching right with my camera so left it. I really should have tried harder :)

Such a jolly and cheerful painting - don't worry about straight lines - wobbly ones are much more full of character and make for a much more interesting work.

Glad that you think so Thea . I guess that my lines will stay wobbly although sometimes I would like to reach out for a nice straight ruler :)

Pen and watercolour. This was from a photo that I had taken from a boat. No way could I sketch this quickly on the choppy water. I hope that you like it, otherwise C&C always helpful :) P.S. I've just looked at this uploaded and have decided that I must have trouble with straight lines! They are all very crooked.... Never mind , perhaps I'll have to go for a quaint looking picture :}
