Really vibrant - the picture glows.

Full of interest this one Sarah. Lovely depth and restful distance and the foreground comes alive with colour and detail. When enlarged the detail on the far right bank is packed full of things to look at. Love the blue!

Wow - a riot of beautiful colours - your work always remind me of either the Victorian watercolourists or French Impressionists - it has that 'charmed life' quality about it. Super work, Sarah.

Love these beautiful Summer paintings that keep cropping up Sarah, this is gorgeous.

Beautiful depth and superb colour creating a vision of paradise Sarah

Wow! Thank you everyone for such amazing comments! I forgot to say that I used tissues in the first coat of gesso to give this some texture in the hedgerows. It is quite 3D and the wrinkled up tissues made some nice branches appear.

Great idea, it certaining makes them 3D.

Carole, we have both done well with trying out different mediums! I love the granulated medium you used in your latest painting. Very effective! All the best :)

Loads of good textures, Sarah, and a good recession. Well done!

Thank you Seok, all your comments are very much appreciated!

This is a wonderful picture, Sarah.

Thank you Shirley! I'm glad that you like it :)

I only had to paint a roof on the house in the background but, you know how it is! Three hours later and the original painting has had a facelift . I used a different palette of colours which I am pleased about, pthalo Blue being the major change as it is such a powerful colour, I hope that I have pulled it off.
