lovely creative work Sarah love your loose style.you have captured the light beautifully those two figures and sail really work well all the posts lead the eye towards the figures .Typical norfolk view excellent

I like this a lot Sarah and can only suggest that a faint line or change of tone suggesting the passage where the boat was travelling would add to it's total scene.

Thank you so much Seok and Derek for your nice comments. Derek ,I can see what you mean ! I think that the red sail should have been a muted colour as its trying to come forward over the marshes. Oh well! We live and learn but I do appreciate your advice as it is always very good advice. Cheers!

This is painted on canvas board, 10"x8". A very limited palette of Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Cobalt Blue and Titanium White. One from my imagination but there are many Saltmarshes this way all begging to be explored.
