In The Deep, Dark Forest

It was the negative painting that first drew my attention from the thumbnail picture Sarah. It’s an exercise that I find particularly difficult. You have some lovely shades and tones of deep shadows here and well done. They really grab the attention. Ruth Dolan started a thread on the forum ref anyone who would be interested in discussing and partaking in negative painting. It’s probably disappeared from the main subjects by now.
