Lovely composition, I like the depth of tone and colour you have used.

This is very striking and you have certainly succeeded with the loose style. I love it!

Gorgeous and exciting colours which capture the whole feel of the region. I haven't seen your gallery before but I am so impressed with your interpretations of the scenes you paint. Love your work.

This is spectacular! It's lovely - the colors and the beautiful tones. A real gem!

Hopefully one day it will become instinctive.........I think its arrived!

Very lovely Rachel - as are the other Tuscan pieces in your gallery. Not easy to avoid stereotypes here, but you've made them all personal.

Rachel, just discovered your gallery. Beautiful work and I love all of them....

stunning work. Absolutely wonderful.

Wonderful rich colours in a superb composition. A great addition to a beautiful gallery.

Striking work, with strong colour expertly applied. If I were seeking to be controversial, and perish the thought, I might add 'don't make a fetish of looseness': I'm not a great devotee of the "less is more" school - I like a painting to involve me on all sorts of levels, and so value complexity. But this is a comment on your words, rather than on your painting - which has plenty to involve and interest the eye, and also makes an immediate statement. By the way, that dividing line of blue in the sky - is this a fold in the paper, or a deliberate choice, ie a matter of technique? I'd be inclined to suppose the former.

Beautiful, vibrant colours - I love this one!

A purely imagintaive painting inspired by fond memories of Tuscany. Painted on Whatman 200lb rough paper. I am always fighting to paint loosely! Hopefully one day it will become instinctive!
