I wish I had one of my daughters giving me a challenge now and then. They are very creative themselves, so, no challenge for me in that area. This is really beautiful, Val, I like it!

One of these birds just appeared in the garden here a couple of years ago; hung around as if it owned the place, picked a fight with its own reflection; and then, after rather more than a week, disappeared as suddenly as it had arrived. I most emphatically did NOT try to paint him - I admire you for taking on the challenge, and even more for the way you've so triumphantly met it.
