Hahaaaa ;) Cheers David!

You are so versatile, this medium is so good!

Thank you Carole ;)

Amazing example of pyrography - you are so multi talented

Thank you Heather a lot ;) You know... In my case I was drawing occasionally with graphite pencils... Nothing else... When I started practicing to get better, to improve, I did join forums to connect to other artists, YouTube tutorials... Suddenly I got surrounded by multi media arts, stunning paintings, great artists... At some point it made me aware, I know so little about?! My graphite drawing started being not enough for me, the main trouble - lack of colour. I was amazed by colourful arts seeing around, but so scared to try it myself, as I didn't know if the colour is my thing? There's the moment I started taking opportunity to try different media... I was challenging myself, trying different things, just to see whether I like it or not... Simply - I needed to gather some experience... When I felt I don't like something, I was moving to try other media, and so on... When you practice, you can see what's working for you what doesn't... This is how I was getting aware of pros and cons regarding different tools in my hand... It is long process unfortunately to discover what you really want, what you really appreciate to work with. There's no possibility to reverse the time, so I'm back to oils, and I wish I did never leave it behind... After these past years I could have gather a lot of practice/knowledge regarding oils, where I feel like beginner today instead ;) But I also believe, that we can not rush things, they just happening on its own time. Therefore I'm thinking the past experience with different media was just my way of getting me to oils ;) Thank you Heather ;)

Really lovely!

Thanks Kate ;)

Do you like it Pastor?! You make me happy, cause I know how different your style of painting is ;) Thanks!

Bruno or Cujo (Steven King)? Slightly scary but very good.

CUJO *Steven King !!! Yes, I remembe this book! This is the author I'm following since I came across his books! Many movies are based on his books/novels ... I'm very pleased you did compare Bruno to Cujo my friend ;) It's honour to me ;) , and .. you did trigger my sleeping mind to wake up, and have a FRESH look at this piece again! Having Cujo in mind now, I can see this artwork different! Wow... I can see it mysterious now, sort of hidden threat/madness in those eyes? Thanks for that Brian.

It's second try with pyrography... This time I did add some colour (oil paint) here and there, to compliment the whole art... It's my workmate's Labrador. •A4 wooden board •pyrography
