Sitting at the base of these hand hewn steps, you can imagine the workers toiling their way up to made a safe haven for their masters - the Knights of Hostelier. Built at the top of a prominent rocky outcrop it offers extensive views over the port and far off distant island of the Greek Dodecanese.
