A wonderful painting of such a complicated subject. I think that if the tones of the distant land over the cliffs was much lowered, the painting would be even better.

I can almost smell the ozone Paula. Love the smell of sea air and miss it terribly when I'm away from home. Your painting would stop me being homesick. Great job.

Watching the tide head out on the beach at Cuckmere Haven. The water flowing around the rocks and pebbles creates beautiful green swirls of seaweed against the backdrop of The Seven Sisters cliffs. Acrylic on canvas 18" x 24"
