Beautiful - those yellows just cry out to be painted. I walked out this morning especially to look at a field like this but with poppies as well. Lovely painting Paula.

This is a super painting Paula - the yellow zings. I went walking today and saw a field with red poppies and golden rape seed both fighting for 1st prize. I also like your composition with the road taking you out then the field bring you back in. Delightful

That was clearly a really enjoyable walk and this is a lovely acrylic painting that has been inspired by it Paula, great colours and love your capturing of the grass as well as the Rapeseed

Congratulations Paula for having this lovely painting in the Leisure Painter!

Thank you all :)

You have blown my mind with your super landscapes in acrylics. I just happened on your portfolio as I posted a painting entitled “Doors and louvres”. I paint landscapes and occasionally abstracts. I live a 'few' bus stops away from UK and am coming to England this summer for some art courses. Do you teach students? If so, can you send me details if you hold courses in July / August 2014? my id is [email protected] Many thanks

Hi Sunil, Thank you for your lovely comment :) No, I don't teach, I'm useless at explaining things but I have several works in progress on my blog if that's any help. All the best, Paula http://paula-paintmyworld.blogspot.co.uk/2013_04_01_archive.html#.UtQUJrRyTIU

The beautiful Summer yellows of the rapeseed fields look stunning set against the backdrop of the South Downs in Sussex . This painting was inspired by a delightful walk around East Chiltington.
