This is absolutely stunning, I love the attention to detail in particular the time spent on the barbed wire fence. Splendid use of colour and tone as well... nice one!

Heading up the chalky track of the South Downs just after sunrise where the Autumn morning mists lingered over the hill tops and trees. Gradually the grassy slopes are lit up by the rising sun creating such a magical view. This painting was inspired by an early morning walk up Kingston ridge, near Lewes in Sussex
