It’s a nice painting John , I can understand your comment about not liking it as the artist there is obviously something you don’t like about it, From a viewers perspective it’s fine .

I think every painter is their own worse critic. This is a lovely picture and no doubt a nice memory given that it was a summers day and the lady looks like shes having alot of fun.
