The painting is not dull like this, one of those uploads.

A really good painting , and the environmental implications are spot on , deliberately or not it’s a great piece telling the fact of how wildlife is affected by our disregard for nature.

This is so good in many ways John - the thoughts behind it ( even if it was a surprise to you ) , the composition and all those lovely textures.

This is lovely, I like it a lot !!

The artwork is superb John.

Well done in all respects John.

Superb painting John and a lovely touch with the distant figures. Love it.

100% agree with Paul. a really good painting John

A lovely piece of work John!

Really good work John.

This is so arresting John. The palette is perfect and I love the swoop of the seagull. Even though unintended, it awakens our environmental awareness.

A wonderful and provocative painting. The mid distant figures apparent disinterest seem to amplify the distressful scene.

A lovely painting, John, and I also like the swoop of the seagull.

I was not impressed with the upload in terms of the colours. But you have cheered me up folks. Your feedback is very much appreciated, thank you.

Tremendous

Beautiful painting with a good message

Beautifully stated John. There are always consequences to our actions, or inactions. The flight of the gull is excellent.

Very impactful painting John, you knock things together superbly! The figures walking away, the seagull swooping down to help its mate out of the discarded rubbish. This is superb.

Oil on 8x10 canvas board. Palette Knife and brush. I did not set out to make a environmental statement it just turned out this way. I started off painting and knocking things together and this is what came out.
