As Far As The Eye Can See
This painting was a commission to paint fields of poppies as far as the eye can see. My first attempt at the painting did not seem to work. It was to literal. So did another the one you see here. I told my client to walk up to the top of the field in the picture then observe the view they desired to see. The client loved the idea. Look close and you can see four goldfinches making their way to the gate on the hill top.
