Thanks for the encouragement Derek, this one was hard work and still is not quite right. Generally there is too much going on and in particular the dark trees in the middle distance adjacent to the houses need toning down.... Proud of the reflected light from the river though!

Yes OK Philip about the dark tree. I can see his line or is it the tree twigs, but so what? I like the ambiguity of that mark.
