Thank you all for your encouraging comments. If it is of interest I am self taught, albeit with over 40 years of studying techniques of both current and past masters (and developing my own) but when you think about it what better tutors could you have! Canvas size 60cm x 42cm (A2)

Very beautiful painting Geoff, such a peaceful pastoral scene with the grazing cows, the reflections in the water, the weeping willow and those lovely clouds. The house through the trees is a draw also. A strong beautifully done painting!

This oil painting gives a typical impression of the Tarrant valley in Dorset which has several villages prefixed by the rivers name like Tarrant Keyneston, Tarrant Rushton and Tarrant Launceston, beautiful names and a beautiful county.
