That's nicely done Pete. Really good representation. Good work.

My thanks Jim.

It looks like Ullswater or there abouts Pete, this is a lovely watercolour, crisp and clean washes.

Could be the Northern end Pete near the distillery that I had an enjoyable visit to a few months ago. Great painting by the way.

Wherever it is you've painted a great picture of it.

A really lovely painting Pete, the mountain on the right is so well done. Beautiful!

That's beautiful colours and washes Pete, really well painted ☺

Beautiful delicate painting with lovely reflections Pete.

Absolutely wonderful Pete! Your watercolours have gone from strength to strength, beautiful application.

Lovely work Pete, good sense of strong winter sunlight. Good feeling of depth too, with the warm, strongly painted hillside on the right pushing the distant hills back.

My thanks to everyone who's took the time to comment. I really appreciate it. Thanks.

Just perfect!

Watercolour on Arches Rough paper. 140lb 1/2 imperial. I'm informed by the person that took this photo that this is Ullswater in the Lake District. Not being familiar with the area, I'll go with that. The reference photo came from PaintMyPhoto and the photographer was Sandie Bell. Initial washes were with the hake. A fairly limited palette of Cobalt and Ultramarine blues, yellow ochre, burnt umber, aureolin and DS colours Transparent Red Oxide, Tigers Eye.
