A lovely warmth coming through Peter, very well painted, and with confidence.

If you are working from tutorials I always think that you will produce better and more spontaneous work by using them as a guide only and not looking to copy every detail and colour, so well done on your version.

Love the sky and nearly as good as Geoff

But this works really well Peter apart from the buildings to the right are just too heavy in tone.

My thanks to everyone for your comments. I take your point Derek, but in fact the buildings are covered with pitch and tar and against a strong light source, so I don't think Geoff got it wrong.

Peter, I like a painting that catches my eye and makes me stop to ponder it, and this does. Well done.

I love the sky Peter, the whole thing has strength and I just love those darks.

Beautiful palette, Peter, and a lovely scene.

Thanks Fiona and Jennifer.
