An excellent first painting in oils - but you know how to use tones so a seamless transition. I started in the same way, with pastels between w.c. and acrylics, now oils are definitely my preferred medium.

Totally agree with Marjorie's comment, oils and wc are my preferred medium, as they blend so much more easily than acrylics

My first painting using oils (cobra - water soluble). It’s taken me a while to build up the courage to try oils after starting with watercolours and more recently acrylics. The colour mixing is the hardest part for me at the moment
