I really like the marks the brushes made, I think they give a depth to a painting, a yumminess that a photo can't do. This is gorgeous I would be very pleased if this was me you had done x

This is a very strong portrait. It is good to see brush marks in a work like this.

Raw Umber portrait using Cobra water mixable oils in monochrome (titanium white and ivory black). I used synthetic brushes and of the mind to try the same exercise with natural brushes softer marks.
