There is nothing Heath Robinson about the painting Peter, superb work. I especially like the way you have handled the foliage around the trailer.

You must have used most of the techniques in the book! Dry brush, splatter, wet in wet, stippling and so on. An excellent painting with a good composition where the trailer leads your eye down the lane.

Well done for spotting this scene as it has made a super painting. I do like your treatment of the metal of the trailer and also the definition between the foreground and distant foliage, which gives the painting depth.

You prove again that there's often an inverse proportion between subject-matter and painting: the less promising the former, the better the latter.

Thanks for all your comments, this painting proved to be more difficult than initially planed, the first try ended up as a disaster. And had to rethink the background, as the greens got the best of me.
